The name means multicolored jasper and is a broad term for three new jaspers from 3 separate mines in close proximity to the famous Ocean Jasper mine. These 3 jaspers are Peninsula Jasper, Sunset Jasper, and one yet unnamed jasper. Jasper is a cryptocrystalline (microcrystalline) variety of quartz, meaning the crystals are too small to even be seen by a microscope. Jaspers can include up to twenty percent foreign materials, which account for the wide variety of colors and patterns. It can be used in meditation to merge with the consciousness of the Earth. Using it, one can also connect with the energy of sacred places around the globe.
