Pumpkin Bloodbath Carnelian Druzy Tower

Halloween mystery: who killed all the pumpkins leaving orange blood stains everywhere? Carnelian with druzy is formed in concentric layers lining a cavity, then was eroded from the matrix leaving only carnelian. This is a large specimen of red-orange Carnelian with one surface half covered with druzy Quartz crystals. It measures about 5.5".
