Santa is coming! And this Santa is drenched in snow, so much it makes him glow! Selenite, while functioning as an energetic healing tool, is, in the simplest terms, a transparent variety of Gypsum. It’s comprised of the crystallization of the calcium sulfate mineral. The selenite stone was named after the moon by J.G. Wallerius upon its discovery in 1747. “Selene” was the name of the Greek goddess of the moon and so, naming this beautiful pale blue crystal in honor of her seemed a fitting tribute.
