In the grasslands of savannah, where the leopard is most commonly found, its primary prey is medium-sized ungulates, which are hooved mammals, though by no means is that the only type of animal it devours. In mountain regions, a leopard will often feed on rock hyrax, an animal that resembles a guinea pig, and also on porcupines. River Jasper is a strong protection stone. It is known to protect the fear from the night and the bad dreams. It is a stone of empowerment and brings courage in time of need.
