Fluorescent Yooperlite Spheres

First found in 2017 in Michigan, Yooperlites light up when activator elements inside them are excited by high-energy UV light. In this case, fluorescent sodalite. The atoms absorb some of UV energy, but release the rest as lower-energy visible light, hence why the mineral appears to glow.
